Why I did choose my major?


Hello everyone! Today I will write the story about how I chose my mayor. I'll try to be brief, because this could actually take several pages!

In the beginning, I liked many majors. All very different from each other. When I was very young, I even thought about being a singer… imagine! I don't even have a pitched voice. Later, in the first years of High School, I thought about Art or Architecture, because I liked to draw, but then Science interested me more, and I leaned towards Engineering. In the end, since I never made up my mind completely, I entered Bachelor of Science at PUCV (because I am from Viña, and that university was "close" to me, in Valparaíso). This is an academic degree that lasts 2 years and allows you to study subjects of different majors at the same time and then choose. However, the degree I chose was at another university, and that's how I started to study Engineering at USM (also in Valparaíso). After a couple of years, I realized that it was not my thing. I had a vocational crisis and it was a difficult period, but in the end I took the test (PSU) again and entered Design at this university.

Now I finally feel good. I am in a major that I like, in a good university. I have met nice and intelligent people. I have even made new friends. All I need is to get my degree someday!

    Last semester I saw an exhibition of solar oven in block G (el titanic), all solar oven were great (Daniela Salazar)

Post 3: My dream job

  In this blog I am going to write about my dream job. First of all, I want to mention that I study Graphic Design, and after finishing my degree, I would like to do a postgraduate degree abroad. I have thought about studying in New York, Barcelona, ​​London or Florence, it is something that I have not decided yet, because I must analyze the different options as to which Master's degree would be the best or most suitable for me. I like Graphic Design a lot, but it is not my only interest. I think my dream job could be Cultural Management, for this a Diploma from a university in the country is enough, but I would like to go further. My other option, after finishing my major, is to enter the Diplomatic Academy of Chile and become a Consul. In this way, I could live in many countries, meet people and different cultures. Leonardo da Vinci

 Hello there! Today I am going to talk about Leonardo da Vinci. Together with some of my classmates, we think he was the first designer. Why? Because through the observation of references that he found in nature, Leonardo was inspired to create new inventions. He analyzed these references, then made sketches until he came up with a design that convinced him. He looked for materials to build some models and then created a prototype, which is practically the work of a designer.  Over time, it has been believed that some of his inventions did not work, but in fact he purposely left mistakes in his books so that if they were stolen, they could not be put together. Only he knew where the mistake was and could build his invention right. Leonardo da Vinci, as we all know, was born in Vinci, in 1452.
